Ridgehill (east-southeast 1) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,200 living in private households. 30.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 17.1%. 68.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.6% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $128,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 8.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.32 km², giving a population density of 3,174 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
