Ridgehill (south-southeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,290 living in private households. 75.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 44.1%. 24.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 53.4% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $76,500 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 70.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.83 km², giving a population density of 7,614 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
