Ridgehill (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,012 living in private households. 68.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 31.8%. 29.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 45.6% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $61,200 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 79.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 8.19 km², giving a population density of 490 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
