Ridgehill (south-southeast 1) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,781 living in private households. 88.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 57.7%. 11.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 56.5% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $77,500 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 43.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.40 km², giving a population density of 3,405 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
