Kedron is a neighbourhood of Oshawa, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,238 living in private households. 30.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 12.0%. 64.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 21.2% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $52,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 87.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.59 km², giving a population density of 8,913 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
