Dickson Hill is a neighbourhood of Markham, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,649 living in private households. 75.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 42.5%. 23.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 51.2% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $107,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 22.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 60.15 km², giving a population density of 77 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
