Churchville (east) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,420 living in private households. 98.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 92.3%. 1.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 56.6% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $99,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 32.8% of households rented rather than owned.
