Cherrywood Station is a neighbourhood of Pickering, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,796 living in private households. 58.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 25.7%. 39.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 34.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $94,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 31.2% of households rented rather than owned.
