Wilcox Lake (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Richmond Hill, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,859 living in private households. 56.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 26.2%. 43.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 49.1% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $117,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 18.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 4.80 km², giving a population density of 1,844 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
