Starkville is a neighbourhood of Clarington, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,242 living in private households. 6.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 2.3%. 89.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 10.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $113,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 9.9% of households rented rather than owned.
