Northwood Park (west-southwest 5) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,978 living in private households. 56.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 34.7%. 42.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 40.7% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $106,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 20.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.39 km², giving a population density of 4,290 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
