Northwood Park (east-northeast 1) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,010 living in private households. 71.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 17.9%. 27.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 59.5% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $71,500 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 55.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.89 km², giving a population density of 6,735 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
