Jane and Finch (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,234 living in private households. 88.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Southeast Asian at 26.4%. 11.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 58.7% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $68,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 60.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.73 km², giving a population density of 7,198 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
