Georgina (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Georgina, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,616 living in private households. 9.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.7%. 88.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 13.3% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $93,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 27.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 13.73 km², giving a population density of 263 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
