Boyne (west-southwest 1) is a neighbourhood of Milton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,328 living in private households. 72.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 36.7%. 27.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 50.3% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $123,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 28.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.86 km², giving a population density of 6,211 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
