Belfontain is a neighbourhood of Aurora, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,728 living in private households. 35.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 16.4%. 63.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 36.5% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide.
