Morningside Heights (east) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,946 living in private households. 94.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 49.6%. 5.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity.
