Milliken (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Markham, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,839 living in private households. 95.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 70.1%. 5.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 70.6% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $69,500 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 15.6% of households rented rather than owned.
