Liberty Village (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,480 living in private households. 41.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 10.8%. 56.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.2% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $97,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 51.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.31 km², giving a population density of 27,346 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
