Leslie Valley is a neighbourhood of Newmarket, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,280 living in private households. 22.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was West Asian at 5.7%. 76.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 24.5% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $98,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 33.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.76 km², giving a population density of 1,404 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
