Erin Mills (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Mississauga, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,749 living in private households. 57.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 21.0%. 41.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 48.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $115,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 24.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.83 km², giving a population density of 1,325 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
