Cliffside (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,177 living in private households. 39.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 17.6%. 59.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.8% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $65,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 54.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.20 km², giving a population density of 5,824 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
