Castle Green (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Oakville, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,544 living in private households. 18.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 4.5%. 80.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 34.6% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $137,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 30.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.56 km², giving a population density of 1,633 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
