Boyne (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Milton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,889 living in private households. 74.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 40.3%. 25.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 55.3% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $131,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 18.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.97 km², giving a population density of 1,983 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
