Toronto–Danforth (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,869 living in private households. 34.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 12.1%. 64.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.2% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $76,500 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 46.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.45 km², giving a population density of 8,646 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
