Thorncrest Village is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,476 living in private households. 18.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 5.7%. 80.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 20.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $150,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 25.9% of households rented rather than owned.
