The Lakeshore Grounds (west) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,294 living in private households. 32.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 8.2%. 65.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.0% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $81,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 55.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.09 km², giving a population density of 5,762 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
