South Hill (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Caledon, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,493 living in private households. 11.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 2.9%. 86.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 20.1% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $118,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 19.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 8.26 km², giving a population density of 665 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
