Silver Creek is a neighbourhood of Halton Hills, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,306 living in private households. 10.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 5.3%. 87.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 17.1% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $129,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 12.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 130.24 km², giving a population density of 56 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
