Port Credit (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Mississauga, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,850 living in private households. 22.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 4.9%. 76.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 34.2% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $67,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 68.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.67 km², giving a population density of 2,904 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
