Orangeville (east) is a neighbourhood of Orangeville, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,041 living in private households. 12.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 4.8%. 84.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 14.7% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $77,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 39.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.87 km², giving a population density of 2,698 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
