Mitchell's Corners (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Clarington, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,604 living in private households. 16.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 5.4%. 81.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.1% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $127,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 6.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 13.74 km², giving a population density of 189 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
