Meadowvale South (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Mississauga, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,224 living in private households. 67.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 36.8%. 33.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 53.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $137,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 11.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.61 km², giving a population density of 2,381 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
