Madoc (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,967 living in private households. 92.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 57.9%. 7.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 65.0% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $123,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 10.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.80 km², giving a population density of 4,981 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
