Lakeview (southwest 2) is a neighbourhood of Mississauga, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,780 living in private households. 30.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 8.4%. 67.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.7% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $76,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 42.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.20 km², giving a population density of 1,493 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
