Don Valley Village (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,080 living in private households. 82.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 18.5%. 16.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 63.0% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $75,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 72.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.07 km², giving a population density of 5,706 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
