Don Mills (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,458 living in private households. 43.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 18.3%. 56.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 43.9% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $96,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 27.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.06 km², giving a population density of 2,112 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
