Audley (west-northwest 1) is a neighbourhood of Ajax, in the Greater Toronto Area. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,541 living in private households. 88.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 55.2% across the Greater Toronto Area as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 46.4%. 10.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 51.3% of the population, compared with 45.1% citywide. Median household income before tax was $143,000 in 2020, compared with $199,000 for the Greater Toronto Area. 8.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.07 km², giving a population density of 3,649 people per square kilometre (the Greater Toronto Area averages about 920).
